These terms apply to the CakeMath iOS application, operated by ScaleLocal ("we," "us"). By using CakeMath you agree to them.
CakeMath is a calculator and quoting tool for home baking businesses. It computes costs and suggested prices from numbers you enter. The suggestions are estimates based on your own inputs. They are not financial, legal, or tax advice, and you are responsible for the prices you actually charge, for the accuracy of the quotes you send, and for complying with the cottage food and business laws that apply to you.
Everything you create in CakeMath (orders, ingredient prices, quotes) is yours and stays on your device. We claim no rights to it.
Do not use CakeMath to produce quotes or documents that are deceptive or unlawful, and do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or interfere with the app.
CakeMath is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update the app and these terms; the current version will always be posted at this address. We may discontinue the app, in which case the free features and your on-device data remain yours.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA.
